Attention Hockey Players:

Registration for the Euclid Senior Hockey (ESH) League 2008 - 2009 season is now in progress.

The Euclid Senior Hockey League consists of players of all skill levels age 30 or older.  Our mission is to provide a recreational outlet for all those who wish to fulfill their desire to play the game of hockey.  The league will support four (4) teams, approximately 64 - 72 players total.  All teams support 3 lines and skill levels: “A” – Most skilled, “B” – Intermediate, and “C” – Novice players.  Each “line” plays full 1.5 minute shifts before change-up.  During games, all attempts are made to match lines/skill levels (i.e., “A” players play each other, etc.).  However, as player shortages are experienced from time-to-time, maintaining matched line/skill levels cannot be guaranteed.

Ice time has been reserved at Euclid’s Clifford E. Orr Arena for 25 dates, Sunday evenings, .

This year’s season will start with a workout session on Sunday, Sept 28 from

Cost per player will be $255.00, payable in full, immediately; no partial payments accepted.  CHECKS or MONEY ORDERS ONLY, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Your player fee covers the costs of ice-time (25 dates), NHL style team jerseys and socks, referees, and organized play.  Budget permitting, we also hope to provide the traditional end of season family party, as well as sponsor teams in the spring Garfield Hockey tournament.  E.S.H. is a non-profit organization; our goal is to provide more hockey for your money.

Open registration is from 9/10/08 to 09/28/08 and will proceed on first-come, first-serve basis.  During this period, previous season players receive priority over new players; players with higher skills receive priority over less skilled players.

Please complete the attached Registration & Acknowledgement of League Rules, and Release of Liability forms enclosed with this letter.  Registration is by mail: Return all documents with your signature and a check or money order made payable to “Euclid Senior Hockey League.”
